Our client, a well established Shipping Company, who specialize in providing bespoke logistics services are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to look after their team. This is an exciting role due to the nature of the business and their specialism. The Desktop Support Engineer will be joining a busy and friendly and professional team.
Apart from the technical skills required, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are key as you could also be guiding clients who may have issues using their software.
This really is a super role as, though you will be part of an IT and technical support team, Desktop will be your responsibility, therefore you need to be enthusiastic and driven and confident with resolving and escalating internal calls.
Our client will also be a little flexible with regard to hours, though core are 9am to 5.30pm, an earlier or later start can be considered.
